A wide range of safe and family-friendly activities are on offer this weekend at Aljada, one of Sharjah’s most popular entertainment destinations.
Manbat, the weekly farmers’ market held in partnership with the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, returns this Friday from 3pm onwards.
More than 30 stalls offering a variety of fruit, vegetables and other produce – all 100% grown in the UAE – are available.
To keep families entertained, a number of other activities are also on the agenda, including parades, hula hoop shows, outdoor games, acrobatic shows and buskers will also be touring the Aljada site.
Visitors to Aljada can enjoy a high-quality skatepark, a large children’s adventure playground, and a waterfall play area, all set in beautiful green landscaping.
As well as the produce on offer at Manbat, families can also make the most of the 24 different cuisines on offer at the Zad food truck district and drive-thru.
Later on Friday evening, the Movie Nights at Aljada drive-in cinema will be showing two blockbuster films.
Disney’s Big Hero 6 kicks off at 7.30pm while superhero action flick Antman begins at 10pm.
Both films are free to enter on a first-come, first-served basis, and cinemagoers can order meals from Zad directly to their cars in a safe and secure manner.
