Sweet and spicy Saudi flavors at Aljada

Families near and far celebrated Saudi National Day festivities at Aljada which included a special edition of Manbat. 

The evening was illuminated with emerald and pearl lighting in honor of the KSA flag. 

Fresh and dried dates along with Arabian sweets and spices amped up festive displays honoring Saudi heritage and culture. Kenz Café offered syrupy Luqaimat at their live station. 

Handmade jewelry from S&S Accessories, organic henna, handcrafted soap from Dexter’s Natural, and fresh organic honey were immensely popular with visitors. 

In addition, there were four types of candy tomatoes – aptly named for their bright hues – in green, red, orange and yellow on display.
